Gail Thorpe

Education: Sage College of Albany – B.A. in Psychology (summa cum laude).

Gail served as an employee of New York State for thirty-five years – the first twenty-five years with the Office of the State Comptroller and final ten years with the Division of the Lottery, which later merged with the Division of Racing and Wagering to become the New York State Gaming Commission. The majority of Gail’s State career – over thirty years was as a Contract Specialist, initially on the auditing side of the business and later as the head of the Procurement and Contracts Bureau with the Lottery/Gaming Commission responsible for oversight of various procurements and contracts, including award of the New York State casino licenses.

Gail divides her time between New York State and the Mid-Coast Region of Maine where she has owned a home for ten years. Gail enjoys volunteer work, including in villages in Africa and locally at an Equestrian Therapy Center. Hobbies include photography, hiking, kayaking and snowshoeing.

Henry Witecki

Henry Witecki

Henry Witecki is Glenn’s son, who works part-time at the office, focusing on Medicaid Applications, Asset Acquisition, Data Visualization and other Client Services. He earned an MA in Visual and Critical Studies, and an MFA in Sculpture from California College of the Arts, after completing his undergraduate studies at Alfred University and the San Francisco Art Institute. Henry is also well versed in his primary occupation of Carpentry and Construction, and is an interior fire fighter with the Eagle Matt Lee Ladder Rescue Company of the Ballston Spa Fire Department. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his son Ocean, tinkering in the shop with creative or leisure projects, ice and open water fishing, and disc golf.

Loni Koubek

Education: 1986 Graduate of Central City Business Institute, Syracuse

Loni joined the Witecki Law Office in February, 2019. Loni has a total of 35 years’ experience as a Legal Assistant and has worked for two of the largest law firms in Albany, New York.

Loni provides solid and reliable assistance and serves as a listening ear for our clients. She is relied upon for document drafting, meeting directly with clients, scheduling appointments and assisting with Court filings and appearances. She currently focuses in the areas of Estate Planning and Administration as well as Residential and Commercial Real Estate Matters and Vehicle and Traffic Law. Loni is a licensed New York State Notary Public.

With her husband Charlie, their four children, their partners and grandchildren, family is a very big part of her life and focus. She enjoys outdoor activities, cooking and finding any opportunity to enjoy friends and family.
